Getting started

Go-live checklist

Everything to check before customers start messaging you.

Before you announce your number

Once customers know your WhatsApp number, every message they send lands in Chatz. Work through this list first so the first real conversation goes the way you intend, instead of exposing a gap while a customer is watching.

  1. A channel is connected
See Connect WhatsApp. Confirm the number that customers already have, or the one you are about to publish, shows up in the Channels list as connected.
  2. Your team is invited, with the right roles
See Invite your team. Everyone who should answer a customer today has an account and a role that lets them do it.
  3. A few quick replies are ready
Save your most common answers (opening hours, pricing, how to order) as quick replies so your team is not retyping the same message all day.
  4. A keyword reply or a welcome flow is set up
Decide what happens the moment someone messages you for the first time, or when they type a common word like "price" or "order." A keyword reply or a simple flow means nobody waits on a human just to get a first response.
  5. A new number has gone through safety warmup
If the number you connected is new to WhatsApp, or new to Chatz, its daily sending budget starts low and grows over the first stretch of days. Sending too fast on a brand-new number is the single most common way to get it flagged. Check its health score under Sending.
  6. Storefront and payments are ready, if you are selling
Skip this if you only use Chatz to chat. Otherwise see the next section.
  7. Book your free setup call, if you have not already
A short call with the Chatz team catches anything this list does not. It is bookable from a banner on the dashboard.

If you sell through Chatz

Selling adds two more things worth checking before go-live: your product catalogue is filled in with real prices and photos, and, if you take payments online rather than by bank transfer, your payment gateway is connected and tested with a real order. A storefront with empty products, or an order nobody can pay for, is worse than not having one yet.

Get a hand if you need one

The free setup call covers all of this
You do not have to work through this list alone. The free onboarding call walks your channel, your team and your first automation with you, and it is bookable straight from the dashboard.
