Channel settings
Sync, auto-assign, menus, calls and privacy, per channel.
Message sync and history
Open any connected channel from Channel to reach its settings. Each channel has its own copy of these sections, so a rule you set on one channel does not affect another. Message Sync & History controls whether Chatz syncs past chats and contacts already on the connected account, and whether a conversation that receives a new message is automatically taken out of the archive so your team notices it.
Auto-assign rules
Decide who picks up a conversation on this channel without a teammate choosing manually. Incoming messages can be left Disabled (nobody assigned automatically) or set to Round Robin, spreading new conversations evenly across your team. Outgoing messages have a third option, Assign to sender, which hands the conversation to whoever sent the first message from Chatz.
Automation and intelligence
Turn on automatic transcription for voice notes received on this channel, and choose how the button menu on an automation flow renders on this channel: as Text (a numbered list) or as tappable native Buttons.
Calls
Available on WhatsApp QR channels only. Set auto-decline for incoming calls, and an automatic reply message sent after a missed call, so a customer who tries to call still hears back.
Privacy and data control
Choose whether a deleted message is retained in Chatz as a tombstone rather than removed outright, and whether archive, pin and read status sync from the phone back into Chatz.
Members
Scope which teammates can access this specific channel. This works alongside workspace roles: see Members and roles for how the two combine, and note that even though the interface hides actions a role cannot perform, the server enforces the same limits regardless of what is shown.
